Research reveals significant progress in Oregon's child care supply. Only 9 of 36 counties are preschool child care deserts, down from 27 in 2018. Public funding supports recovery, though infant/toddler care remains challenging.

Child care, particularly for children of preschool age, is becoming more available to Oregon families in many parts of the state, a new report by Oregon State University researchers has found.
