The First Five Years Fund projects Oregon’s economy loses $1.4 billion annually from childcare challenges

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek announced Tuesday she’s bringing together a group of experts to discuss pathways for bringing universal preschool to the state.

The Early Childhood Care and Learning System Roundtable will include state and national experts to discuss ways to improve access to affordable, quality childcare and preschool statewide. Read more
